Changing Seasons ...

Fall has been here for some time, evidenced by the changing colors and dropping leaves, but it is hard to feel like winter is on it's way when we are having sunny, 80 degree afternoons!

Such is Autumn in California!

However with the recent cooler temperatures and the smattering of rain, we finally had our first fire last night.

Something about the woodstove glowing that makes it seem official ~ the seasons have changed and we are indeed headed towards winter!

    Hi Olinda, Oh I love your corner-it reminds me so much of times spent visiting over a cup of tea. I don't remember the wood stove though. We are supposed to get snow tomorrow and Sunday but I'm not ready for it. Autumn can stay a bit longer.
