Carmel...

This month marked our 4oth anniversary... how did that happen? Bob and I were able to celebrate with a short vacation to Carmel. In spite of living less than four hours away, we had never visited this community. We found a delightful little studio cottage on Airbnb in a quiet, secluded neighborhood, yet central to everything. We had 3 days and managed to see and do a lot and yet still feel like we had a relaxing get away. The weather was perfect... sunny and a balmy 70°.

Carmel Beach is stunning... with beautiful white sand. Every evening we watched the sunset!

 

Hiking (actually walking) in Point Lobos State Reserve offered gorgeous coastal views!

 

I was fascinated by the variety of interesting succulents that grow in the area.

 

We of course enjoyed amazing food and good coffee!

 

 

Bob appreciated the amazing architecture and great variety of gorgeous homes! (With price tags in the multi-millions!)
